S-5-V Mini Universal Metal Roof Attachment Clamps The S-5-V Mini is a bit shorter than the universal S-5-V and has one setscrew rather than two. Note: The Mini version of this clamp is not designed for most snow retention. The S-5-N 1.5 clamp was designed for application on popular 1.5” nail strip metal roof S5! makes a variety of clamps for use on metal roofs. Installation involves tightening the included ‘bullet-nosed’ set screws onto the standing seam for a firm grip. The set screws compress the metal seam material against the opposite side of the clamp wall and will dimple the seam material but not penetrate it. seam profiles manufactured in North America — including most structural and many popular architectural profiles.
